11th December 2025: BBC Ghosts + The Fast Show + Upstart Crow + Inside No. 9

Over the last week, I have been watching a LOT of The Fast Show. I am utterly obsessed with Ted and Ralph, and I hope to finish the series soon so that I can watch the made-for-TV Christmas film special about them. I was getting sick of the 'Channel 9' sketch, but am starting to come back around to it. While it is certainly a product of its time, with some loose language used to describe queer people (slurs) it is exceptionally funny. I will be trying to fit 'Suit you, sir!' into all conversations from now on.
Today, I rewatched the BBC Ghosts Season 2 Christmas special: 'The Ghost Of Christmas.' I have not always been a fan of rewatching even my favourite shows, but this episode, like many others in the series, is just wonderful every time. I also rewatched half of Season 4's 'It's Behind You', as it is easily one of my favourite episodes. Overall, I love and highly reccomend both of these shows, and they are great for the Christmas season.
I have also recently watched a portion of Upstart Crow - an hilarious fictionalised retelling of Shakespeare's life, which only gets funnier when you know more about Shakespeare - and Inside No. 9 - a dark and gritty comedy, where each episode focuses on new characters, and topics ranging from grief, to the supernatural, to mysteries. Both are brilliant comedies which I would highly reccomend. I will try to do a full review when I have finished watching them

7th December 2025: Turn: Washington Spies

I watched episode 1 about a year and a half ago, and have been meaning to continue watching for a while. I'm about midway through episode 1 and am really enjoying it, though I forgot how much violence there was even in the first few scenes. I can't wait for Burn Gorman's appearance (I know it's this episode).
